If you want to impress your loved ones with some delicious soft chocolate cookies or you just want to make the cozy winter nights more enjoyable these crinkle ones are just perfect. They are easy to make and most importantly really fast. Just spend 10 min for the preparation and 15 min for the cooking time and they will be ready to eat and I promise you will want more

Ingredients you will need :

1 cup of All Purpose Flour

1/2 cup of Cocoa Powder

1/2 cup of Granulated White Sugar

1/4 cup of Unsalted room temperature Butter

2 eggs

1 tsp of baking powder

1/2 tsp of instant espresso powder or cinnamon

1 tsp of vanilla extract

a pinch of salt

1/2 cup of confectioner sugar

Preparation time :

In a bowl whisk together flour, cocoa powder, instant espresso, salt and baking powder

In a another bowl beat the sugar and butter until creamy. Carefully add one egg at a time and mix until they are light and fluffy

Combine together wet and dry ingredients and make sure not to overbeat

Cover the bowl, put the mixture in the fridge and let it there for a minimum of 3 hours or even better overnight

After the dough is chilled preheat your oven to 180oC and using an ice cream scoop or a spoon to form little bowls and coat them in the confectioner sugar. place them onto a lined baking tray leaving a little space for the cookies to spread out

Pop them into the oven and bake them for 10-12 minutes or until you see the crinkles starting to appear . Slide them into a rack to let them cool . If you can wait that long of course

I made some normal and some X-large cookies , you can choose the size depending on your preferences.

Take care XXX
